This Chapter of AlumniMIP is dedicated to those of us that have followed an MBA or Executive MBA course at MIP-Politecnico di Milano.
This Chapter is the natural prosecution of the activity of AMIP Association, born in the nineties to gather MIP MBA graduates, to promote their profile in the labour market and to foster professional, cultural and social activities for its associates.
In september 2004, AlumniMIP was officially created to unify in a single group the whole corpus of the MIP graduates.
AMIP did important thinking to understand how it was requested to change and how to be part of this new macro-association.
AMIP Board felt as a big opportunity to remain within the new association and has formally requested to AlumniMIP to become the reference MBA Chapter.
The AlumniMIP General Council decided without disagreement in the 19th April 2007 meeting to establish the MBA Chapter.
AMIP has kept a certain degree of self-ruling, both in operative and financial terms.
This decision shall allow to continue to develop initiatives with a special focus on the MBA and ExecutiveMBA graduates and to co-organize more general purpouse initiatives, to be addressed to the whole community of the MIP graduates, together with the colleagues of the macro-association.
AMIP from now on shall work as MBA Chapter – AMIP following the guidelines given by AlumniMIP Regulation, even if it still lives as independent association.
