Global MBA Trophy

 

Like every year AlumniMIP aim to participate to the “Global MBA Cup” organized by London Business School in Athens.

London Business School supports the Global MBA Trophy regatta every year in Athens, a high point for many sailors, alumni and students of the world's top MBA Schools.

The Global MBA Trophy represents an opportunity to mix sailing and networking, to open up the summer season's racing or to catch-up with friends and ex-classmates.

2010 Edition will take place on Apr 30th and May 1st in the waters of Faliron Bay in Mikrolimano, Piraeus, Athens.

Previous years' participants include Athens University of Economics & Business, Columbia Business School, Cornell University the Johnson School, INSEAD, IE Business School, Kellogg School of Management / WHU, Michigan Ross School of Business, MIP Politecnico di Milano, New York Stern, SDA Bocconi, Rotterdam Erasmus School of Management, Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, Warwick Business School and others.

The participation fee is Eur 360 per person including the following:

  1. Hire of boat and engine hours.
  2. Race entry fee and all race organisation costs (setting, racing & redress committees, judges, follow-up boat, emergency boat etc.)
  3. Race premiums and insurance, no extra fee or downpayment required for insurance or excess fee
  4. Overnight accommodation on board yachts
  5. Use of the members' only facilities of the Yacht Club
  6. Free entrance to welcome party, including food and drinks
  7. On-shore breakfast for both days of the races
  8. Entrance to formal dinner and entertainment at the Yacht Club of Greece main Club House for the formal award ceremony on the last day of races
  9. Prize giving
  10. Merchandise
  11. Availability of press and VIP yachts
  12. Professional photos available post the event

AlumniMIP is organizing one (or more)  8 people crew.

Subscriptions will be accepted on the basis of “first pay first placed” with priority for 2 participants holding sailing licence for each boat.
