The AMEC chapter is working concretely on few but significant specific initiatives: most of the remaining activities are still under development, or they remain under the umbrella of the wider AlumniMIP association.
i. Events organization
We believe that professional events are important to maintain and improve the network among MEC Alumni. In this direction, a successful event was organized last winter, and a new one will be held during the coming autumn, to meet the specific interests of the AMEC community.
PAST EVENTS:
15 December 2006: joint presentation to the students of the MEC's seventh edition of Manpower and AMEC / AlumniMIP.
ii. Relationship with ANIMP
The MEC course is one the most important educational courses sponsored by ANIMP, the Italian association of Engineering & Contracting companies.
Historically, several of our associates took part to ANIMP annual meetings, holding presentations and reporting their business experiences.
One of the activities currently underway is the development of a formal relationship between AMEC and ANIMP, in order to offer our associates special conditions and terms.
